Hard Puncher (ハード・パンチャー, Hādo Panchā) is the third chapter of the Trigun manga.
Summary[]
While Father Nebraska continues to spout arrogance, Vash goes about digging the other women out of the debris. Upon finishing, Gofsef fires another shot, which Vash dodges, and Father Nebraska launches into another speech about Vash’s hypocrisy of apparent pacifism, which shouldn't have gotten him the reputation he now has. Vash, unfazed, prepares to draw. Gofsef fires again, and Vash fires five shots and veers the fist just far enough off course to miss him, the sixth shot takes out the launching mechanism, and Gofsef.
Meryl finally gets everyone’s attention, though the fight is over, and is able to inform the townsfolk that the $$60 billion reward is gone, as Vash has been upgraded to disaster status. Vash is excited to have the bounty off his head, until he finds that the insurance girls are now to tag along with him and mitigate any damages he might cause. As his hopes of freedom come crashing down, Father Nebraska reveals himself with more screeching of threats. Milly dispatches of him easily, and Vash is a little unnerved.
