Looney Tunes (LOONEY TUNES) is the second chapter of the Trigun manga.
Summary[]
This chapter establishes July as the first in the list of Vash’s rap sheet before showing his amazing skill at fleeing and dodging bullets… from a whole town. Meryl and Milly arrive in town, with Meryl arming herself with a megaphone in hopes of deterring the townsfolk in their pursuit. No luck there, and they’re trying high explosives to stop him at this point. When that proves unsuccessful, they call in the Nebraska family, which throws the insurance girls into a tizzy.
Vash finds himself again at gunpoint, this time the guns are held by a group of otherwise motherly looking women. This seems to toss him into a more somber mood from his previous antics, and he laments at the influence on the children, which launches the women into the explanation of the failing plant and sick children in town. Vash, apparently touched again, finally draws his gun and makes ready to either cry or make an oath to help, but is quickly interrupted by Gofsef’s fist smashing the building. Vash is, of course, unharmed, and holding one of the women from earlier, who is apparently unconscious. Father Nebraska screeches, yells, gloats and etc..
